Up Your Meal Prep Game with these Spring Inspired Recipes

Spring is in the air! I don't know about you, but for me, spring gives me the energy to refresh different areas of my life. Some years it's my closet, this year it's my meal prep game! I usually have a rotation of a few different go-to recipes that I prep on Sundays to last throughout the week. But lately I've been feeling bored of the same old salad and stir-fry, so I decided to give my meal-prep a spring clean! These are the recipes I'll be trying this season.
1. Greek Orzo Salad from Baker by Nature

I love anything Greek and this orzo salad looks like it would travel extremely well! I'm going to make a big batch of it on Sunday and eat it for my work lunch throughout the week with some grilled chicken.
2. Easy Spicy Chicken Pad Thai by My Modern Cookery

I absolutely LOVE a good chicken pad Thai. However, it can be really hard to find a recipe you can make at home that is as good as takeout. Well, look no further! This recipe is PERFECT. Bonus: It makes awesome leftovers for work lunches!
If you don't like it spicy, simply reduce or omit the sriracha sauce. If you don't know how spicy you like it, just add the sriracha on top on your plate! Boom. Dinner = done.
3. Easy Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas by The Busy Baker

Oh how I love a good sheet pan meal. Pro tip: Line your sheet pan with foil or parchment paper for easy clean up. This would be perfect for a mid-week meal, quick prep and quick clean up. I would make extra and save some for lunch the next day, served with a tortilla or just over rice. Yum!
4. BBQ Ranch Chicken Bowls by Ambitious Kitchen

If I don't know what to make for my meal prep, I make some kind of bowl. It's versatile and very satisfying! If you have picky eaters in your household, you can customize the bowls to their liking. These BBQ Ranch Chicken Bowls have a spring vibe! I can almost smell the barbecue.
5. Cilantro Lime Chicken Taco Salad

I'm only a salad person when they are full of tasty things like this Cilantro Lime Chicken Taco Salad! Cheese, chicken, avocados, crunchy tortilla strips, and colourful veggies. What more could you want?! Plus, the protein from the chicken and black beans combined with the fat from the cheese and avocado will keep you full and satisfied throughout your work day. It's a win-win!
